Lost Temple is an exploration adventure set in a single large temple complex. No combat; pure exploration and puzzle-solving. Players navigate connected rooms, find items, solve location-based puzzles to progress deeper.
What works is the map design. The temple is interconnected without being overwhelming. Players develop a mental map across the campaign. The exploration loop respects the player.
Six hours of campaign across thirty rooms. The temple is dense enough that careful exploration rewards players who poke at suspicious walls and unusual fixtures.
Tested over four Cross-City Line train sessions on a weekend. Touch with tap-to-walk works fine. Mouse-click also works.
Where the design earns its rating is the environmental storytelling. The temple has visual details that suggest its history without explicit text. Wall paintings hint at the temple's past inhabitants. Object placement tells stories about previous explorers who came before you.
Where I would push back is the absence of a journal feature. The story emerges through environmental details, but players cannot review past discoveries. Adding a journal that compiles findings would have helped retention across multiple sessions.
