What works is the shop-pricing layer. Set prices for goods; manage inventory; watch demand fluctuate. The economic layer is reasonable.
What does not work is the adventure portion. Adventure interactions are rare and shallow. Most of the game is shop-management with brief narrative interludes. The marketing as an adventure game is misleading.
