Asha Khan
Physics graduate who works in cybersecurity by day and reviews browser puzzles by night. The kid who solved Rubiks Cubes at lunch in school. Has opinions about constraint-satisfaction algorithms.
Asha did a physics undergrad at IIT Bombay and went straight into cybersecurity work after graduation. She is now a senior security engineer at a Mumbai-based fintech, where she spends her days finding vulnerabilities in authentication flows and her evenings reviewing puzzle games for AJ Arcade. The cybersecurity background shows up in her reviews: she thinks about puzzle games the way a security engineer thinks about systems, looking for the structural properties that make a puzzle interesting rather than just whether she enjoyed it.
She is also the reason this site does not run thinkpieces about how puzzle games are mindless. Anyone who has watched a CSP solver chew through a constraint graph understands that good puzzles are mathematical objects with specific properties. Asha brings that perspective to her writing without being academic about it.
She covers most of our puzzle reviews and runs the entire .io section because both formats reward patient analysis, which suits her. She writes one or two pieces a month for the blog, usually on technical or design topics.
