Dart Line is a darts arcade game with standard 501 mode and surprise variants. The format is what every darts game does, with the addition of cricket and around-the-clock modes that some implementations skip.
What works is the throw mechanic. Drag-and-release sets dart angle and power. The dart-flight respects gravity and angle realistically. Players develop intuition for the throw motion within a few sessions.
Three modes (standard 501, plus cricket and around-the-clock variants) cover the standard darts variants. Each mode follows traditional darts scoring. The variety extends the format beyond standard 501 grinding.
Tested over three Cross-City Line train sessions. Touch with drag-and-release is the natural input. Mouse-drag also works fine. Keyboard is not supported (correctly, for this format).
Where the design earns its rating is the throw-style consistency. Once you find your throw rhythm, the game respects it. No random accuracy modifiers. No hidden stat-based adjustments. Your throw quality determines dart placement.
Where I would push back is the absence of friend-mode for local two-player. Darts is fundamentally a social game. A pass-the-device two-player mode would have improved the casual appeal considerably.
