Editor review

Tower Snipe is a sniper variant set in a tower-defense framework. You hold a tall tower position; enemies approach from below; pick them off before they reach the tower base. Twenty waves across three difficulty tiers.

What works is the elevation-aim. Shooting downward at moving targets requires understanding the elevation-angle versus distance trade-off. Closer targets are nearly straight-down; distant targets need significant elevation adjustment.

What does not work is the difficulty escalation. Late waves spawn so many enemies that single-shot precision cannot keep up. The format devolves into spray-and-pray during late waves, which contradicts the precision-sniper identity.

Twenty waves across three difficulty tiers. The tier progression is straightforward but the late-tier balance is off (see above).

Tested with mouse-and-keyboard. Mouse precision is mandatory for the elevation-aim. Touch is supported but loses precision. Gamepad analog stick works for casual play.

Where the game tries hardest is the visual presentation. The tower-elevation perspective is rendered with appropriate depth. Enemy size scales correctly with distance.

Where I would push back is the missing reload mechanic. A sniper-focused shooter benefits from reload-vulnerability moments. Tower Snipe has no reloads. This removes the tension that the sniper format depends on.

Three stars. Functional sniper-tower shooter with broken late-wave balance. Skippable; better sniper formats exist on this catalogue.
